The ERIEsistible Clowns, formally the Erie Clowns were organized in 1968 when Joe and Jill Kury had a dream and a vision. It was their desire to spread joy and merriment throughout the community. Through the generous donation of land from the Kurys, building materials from the community, and the hard work of many, our 5000 square foot building was completed in 1972. Much laughter can be heard through the walls of Kury Hall and throughout the community as many clowns gather to share their talents of balloon twisting, face painting, juggling, magic, skits and parades. We can also refer you to clowns for your private events. Each year starting in September, we sponsor a clown college. During the 8 week course (1 night/week), proper make-up application and the basic skills of clowning are taught. Besides learning valuable life skills (ha ha ha), lifelong friendships are formed. In addition to our community service, our group of more than 50 members gets together for picnics, Christmas parties, and other special events. If you are interested in joining us, please contact us by phone or E-mail.

We have a variety clowns that are available for your party or event. Please contact us for more information.

Our mission is to make kids from 1 to 100 smile and laugh. We love to see the smiles of the young and old
Welcome to the ERIEsistible clown alley! As you might imagine, we get lots of requests from charities and organizations wanting to have entertainment for the families at their events.
While we’d love to be able to say “yes” to everyone, we are unfortunately limited to he number and “types” of events per year that we can handle.
Additionally, the costs we incur for materials, i.e. balloons, face paint, etc., continue to rise. Those reasons and others, we have had to implement the following guidelines with regard to Events where we are requested:
As an organization, we do not do private events such as Birthday parties. However, many of our clowns do offer those services. We can act as a free referral service. Just let us know some details and we will pass your information on to one of our working clowns.
Rates and availability vary, but the typical rate is around $150/hour.

The ERIEsistible Clowns are one of the only Clown Alleys in the country that owns its own building, thanks to our founder Joe Kury and his generous donation. We do rent out our hall for any occasion. We do offer a kitchen and have a 250 person capacity. The space is perfect for birthdays, stag and drags, baptisms, or just about any small to medium celebration. Our pricing is very reasonable and also requires a $100.00 refundable security deposit.
